The Flop House Palace

Flop House Palace is an exceptional house, set in beautiful large landscaped gardens, offering inspiring views in all directions, with an infinity pool, beyond which there is a further garden with fruit and olive trees. Take breakfast at the table with a spectacular view of Mont Ventoux. Lunch outside in the shade on the dining room terrace with views of the garden and Vaucluse plateau, and dine
by the infinity pool in the romantically lit garden.

A short stroll takes you to the pretty village of Bedoin with its bars, restaurant and famous Monday market. A short drive away is the busting town of Carpentras and the colorful city of Avignon.

The house is well placed to explore all the wonders of Provence, Roman ruins, medieval market towns, artists ateliers, the wine trail, cycling up the famous Mount Ventoux, walking in the Dentelles. There are golf, flying, horse riding, and tennis clubs. The gastronomic restaurants complete
the perfect holiday experience. The House consists of an older main house and a more recent traditional 'Provence stone' wing which has been added to form a L-shape which nestles around
the large, paved 'dining' patio, upper garden and infinity swimming pool (12 x 6 meters).

It is a light spacious house of character, very well equipped with all ground floor rooms opening
on to the gardens and pool. It has broadband Internet access, ipod docking system, stereo,
and D.V. D. and T.V. There is a beautiful staircase leading to the mezzanine which serves as the library and television room. All rooms, except bathrooms, in the main house faces southwards towards the views and all ground floor rooms, including the newer wing, have direct access via French doors to the patio and pool area. Ground floor main house:
Large sitting room with stone fireplace, patio doors to garden; TV, DVD player, speakers and ipod docking, Internet connection; sweeping staircase to galleried room. Adjoining the living room is
the dining room with French doors to the patio; Adjoining the dining room is the kitchen with French doors to the patio, Bosch electric oven, gas hob, American style fridge/freezer with ice dispenser, dishwasher, microwave.
Large utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer and additional cooker and fridge/freezer.
Downstairs lavatory and wash basin.

First floor main house:
Corner master bedroom with lovely views, king-size bed and en suite bathroom with shower
and double washbasins.
Two further double bedrooms, a shower room with double washbasins and wc, and a bathroom with washbasin and wc. Mezzanine library/TV room (above sitting room).
There are staircases at either end of the main house which lead from the ground to first floor.

Ground floor poolside wing:
2 double bedrooms with ensuite shower room and separate wc and leading via French doors
to the patio/pool area.

Patio area:
Shaded large dining table and chairs, BBQ, sun loungers, garden umbrellas

Garden:
Numerous places with small tables and chairs to enjoy the view read or linger over an aperitif.

Pool:
Beautiful Infinity pool 12 x 6 m and alarmed. Steps across shallow end of the pool. Can be heated at extra cost.

Children:
Cot, stair gate, high chair and pushchair available on request.
