The Mas de Maitre
This beautiful old Provencal house, in its quiet situation, is a minute from the centre of one of Provence’s most beautiful unspoilt villages, surrounded by wonderful country side, rivers,
& medieval villages, producing wine, truffles and cherries.
The stylishly decorated & well-equipped house has both broadband and a telephone.
The furnishings are elegant but relaxed. Painted in muted Farrow and Ball paints with lime stone floors on the ground floor. A great centre for exploring Provence. Photogallery
Accommodation:
Downstairs:
Lovely beamed sitting room with chandeliers, antique mirrors, open fireplace, satellite T.V, and DVD player. There is an attractive dining room with a further open fireplace. A well-equipped kitchen, with granite work tops, lime stone floors, & French windows leading onto an outside shaded dining terrace. There is also a utility room with additional large fridge and washing machine.
Upstairs:
5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms comprising;Three large double bedrooms, one with en-suite shower room, one with own bathroom, and one with own shower room, and then separated by a small hall, a further two bedrooms, one twin bedded with own shower room, & one large bedroom with double bed, single bed and en-suite shower room. All bedrooms have lovely views. (There is a single put-u-up bed available.)
Outside:
Lovely garden with fenced pool & barbecue, with plenty of shady areas, sun loungers, and outside dining tables. Parking for two cars.
The village with its tree-lined avenue of shops, good restaurants & all important cafe bars, is very well situated for all the main attractions that Provence has to offer. For those who get bored sitting in the afternoon shade, reading a book, with a glass of wine, it is a wonderful area for walking and cycling. There are Roman ruins, walled market towns, beautiful cities, the wine trail, canoeing, horse riding, and golf.
Children:
The pool is fenced, and a cot, highchair, stair gate, and pushchair are available by prior request.
Winter lets:
The house has central heating, log fires and is available for longer winter lets, prices on application. We can provide help with house hunting.
